The International Symposium on Analysis and Applications 2016 (ISAA 2016) is organized by the Analysis Group of the Mathematics Department at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa, mainly sponsored by the "Red temática de Colaboración UAM-Italia PRODEP". Its aim is to discuss recent developments in the study of evolution equations, their invariant states and the asymptotic behavior of their solutions, including: quantum Markov semigroups, non-linear evolution equations, quantum dispersion theory, topological algebras, methods in partial differential equations and mathematical finances. Another aim is to introduce graduate and undergraduate students as well as young researchers, to the above topics and others that are relevant in Mathematical Analysis.
ISAA 2016 will take place at Centro Vacacional IMSS Atlixco-Metepec, Puebla, Mexico, from wednesday September 7th (arrival should be on September 6th in the evening) through Saturday 10th (departure should be at noon). The city of Atlixco (from the nahuatl language: "atl", water, "ixtla", valley), is located 165 km. south-east from Mexico City. It is a small city in a beautiful valley at the altitude of 1835 meters with privileged weather during the whole year; the average temperature in September is 20°C (68°F) with a maximum of 28°C (68°F) and a minimum of 15°C (59°F). The city has an important architectural patrimony that has been acknowledged as a "typical monumental zone" since 1989. The Centro Vacacional IMSS Atlixco-Metepec is located in the small town of Metepec, very close to Atlixco, surrounded by forest and with facilities for sport fishing and with a beautiful view of the Popocatepetl volcano.
The program of ISAA-2016 includes 4 minicourses given by leading specialists, invited and contributed talks, as well as a poster session.
Further details on the program of the talks as well as the minicourses will be published in due course.
